To Our Coach Captain Sam, Paul and Gary
I would like to say I have had a ball in oh so many ways.
You’ve carried our bags held the brollie, boiled the Billy and stacked our lollies.
Surprised us with a trip to the Wall and supplied a meal to beat them all.
From this passenger I would like to say,
Thankyou Coach Captain for these sixteen wonderful days.

We would like to express our collective appreciation for the wonderful week we have spent here in your care. We all appreciate the well organised daily outings we have experienced, the delicious meals and the caring attitude everyone has given us. Thankyou, thankyou, thankyou!

What will happen next, you can't tell
A smart bus driver named Sam
He's of Italian descent, but he's our man.
Taught by the Christian Brothers would you believe
When he left, they didn't grieve.
From baggage by then to catering it seems
To organising people has fulfilled his dreams.
His lovely wife, Mary, is such a delight
10 years they've been married, so I guess they're alright
With two lovely children, a girl and a boy
Like their Dad, not at all coy.
Sam's parent's, Joe and Lucy, we would like to nab
Not at all like their son with the gift of the gab
As a coach driver he is just great
With comments and history and he's never late.
Nothing's a problem to give us a hand
But don't interrupt when he's talking: for that he can't stand.
He's given up smoking and running on high
Thank goodness we won't be here when he takes a dive.
But when all said and done, he really is fun
If the Christian Brothers could see him now
As to what a good citizen he is WOW!
They wouldn't believe it for all their teaching and hum drum and books
Sam would surely say "Oh deary me, fair dinkum, stone the crows, how's your Mother's chooks.

We're back at Terranova
With friends we're having fun
Where they make you feel so welcome
For it's the way the place is run.
Sam and Mary love to have us here
For it helps the place survive
The wholeplace is so friendly
It makes you glad to be alive.
A week at Terranova
Is a week you can enjoy,
The days are full of entertainment
And the food is great, OH-BOY!
We're not sad to leave Terranova
For to return we know we can,
And Sam will make us welcome
'cause it's the family plan.
